Someone wrote to me suggesting a different approach for this: a KoStore option
(or alternative class) that makes it save as a normal directory instead of a tarball.
This way you can use CVS on the individual components of the document.
Hmm, fun, there's a "using kword and cvs" thread on koffice@kde.org too....
