Would that not be overkill?

The aim is to be able to remove a applet from its own configuration menu, in
general this means all the instances.

Anyway; Adding a DCOP to the panel/subpanels seems nicer to me, and since 
the GUI does not allow an applet to be added more then ones to any panel...

With this 'solve' you can just ask kicker to remove an applet, which means
that kicker ask all the subpanels. Or your DCOP could ask one panel/subpanel
to remove the thing.
