Do you think that a fist run applet might be a good idea for KDE 2.3?
I have been kicking around the idea for some time about making a self
contained presentation that would auto run ONLY when it detected a revision
change in KDE and then could be accessed like Kandalf Tips later.
My only problem is translations. Is there a way to generate a PO file for
KPresenter Presentation or should we make some applet that uses kio_help to
display html pages. We could then pretty print the change log for everyone
to see. Include a few screenshot and helpful hints, those sort of things.
Heck I read the changelogs and there are still features I discover by
accident.
If you think that this may be something to keep in mind let me know. I think
a pretty display of new features every time KDE is upgraded would do allot to
make people aware of how feature filled KDE really is.
I am interested in peoples thoughts on the mater.
