You want to release completely different kdm sources for a
specific platform ? IMHO that's asking for trouble. The source packages
are the same for everywhere. A separate patch is the best way to go,
so that people know what it is and what it does.

But yes, there is time to "prepare the patch", i.e. for Oswald to finish the
new code.
