This is the never-ending problem with starting the user's shell instead 
of /bin/sh, at some point (either in the startup sequence, e.g. to run startkde,
or right before running a command).

Forwarding to kde-core-devel. What do you think is the right thing to do ?
There was a discussion about this some time ago (something like, letting
KProcess or KShellProcess use the user's shell, since I guess it's possible
to get hold of that).... Ah, but IIRC it might break some constructs when
the shell is csh, if the arguments passed to KShellProcess assume a bash-like
shell.

So it's probably better to solve this at the minicli level.
KShellProcess can take a shell name (path) as argument.
How does one find out the shell for a given user ?
