Subject:    Release schedule delayed by one week.

According to popular demand, the release schedule for KDE 2.1 final has
been delayed by one week, and is reading now as follows :

Sunday 18/02

Last day for translations, documentation, icons and critical bugfixes commits.

Monday 19/02

The HEAD branch of CVS is tagged KDE_2_1_RELEASE, and tarballs are released to the packagers. 

The rest of the week is spent testing the tarballs, packaging and writing the announcement and changelog.

Friday 23/02

The source and binary packages are uploaded to ftp.kde.org to give some time for the mirrors to get them.

Monday 26/02

Announce KDE 2.1. 



This will give time to get improve the various visual aspects of KDE, from
more consistent "about" pages to alpha blending and the render extension.
Plus of course more bugfixing during that time.
