X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-core-devel&m=98149878126562 According to popular demand, the release schedule for KDE 2.1 final has been delayed by one week, and is reading now as follows : Sunday 18/02 Last day for translations, documentation, icons and critical bugfixes commits. Monday 19/02 The HEAD branch of CVS is tagged KDE_2_1_RELEASE, and tarballs are released to the packagers. The rest of the week is spent testing the tarballs, packaging and writing the announcement and changelog. Friday 23/02 The source and binary packages are uploaded to ftp.kde.org to give some time for the mirrors to get them. Monday 26/02 Announce KDE 2.1. This will give time to get improve the various visual aspects of KDE, from more consistent "about" pages to alpha blending and the render extension.
