Hi,

KDE2 compiled on Debian/Linux and used with a XF86 SVGA server with -bpp 8
display the selected background color now as it should. Thanks!

But on NCD and Tektronics 8Bit X-terminals we see a new mix or rgb
values (formerly exchanging r<->b did the trick on Linux, NCD, Tektr.).

Here's a table of what 'Select Color' shows for the RBG values (left) and
what gets really used in the little terminal in k(cm?)desktop and for
background (right)

	Select Color used on background

	255	0	0 0	255	255
	255	255	0 255	0	255
	255	0	255 0	255	255
	0	0	255 0	0	255	:)
	0	0	0 0	0	255
	0	255	0 255	0	255
	255	255	255 255	255	255	:)

Lucky the guy that likes blue or white background :) I've tested
this with common background + Mode=flat on a used and virgin KDE2
account.

Linux, NCD, Tektronics all support several visuals in 8bpp
and on all displays PseudoColor is the default visual.

Achim
