From another point of view, it's simply consistent with the case where
you specify an image from the command line: right-click to get the
menu.

I agree that XV really does stand the test of time though.  I keep
going back to it no matter how old and unmaintained it is...  Many
must agree else they wouldn't be paying tribute to it this way.  :)
