I am really pissed about this behaviour (not yours..., but Dons). The
only reason for this I can imagine is the "not invented here" syndrome.
And this cannot be the way to go in an open source project.

I do not want to spend a saturday evening in programming something
everybody wanted to see it removed the next morning simply because
somebody was pissed he did not do it.

And the messages where quite understandable, it should be a
one-minute-exercise to find why the templates did not exist.

I could, easily. But first it has to be cleared how to proceed. I do not
want to add work again and again that is not appreciated.

You mean email addresses you typed in manually? Should be easy.

It uses the map class, as QMap was not there when it was written.
Anyway, the scandalous string class that caused all the compilation
problems has been replaced by QStrings etc. So no compilation probs are
known.
