The text specified in the action properties is *not* being translated.
Well, perhaps it would be possible to tweak with scripts somehting like
text="blah" textUK="foo" textDE="bar" , but that would look awful.

Well, in fact ActionProperties should be something for the user, I think.
Via some magic ui editor he might be able to specify/change the properties
of actions, including the text. But this is something for an installed
system, no? It's not something we provide with the KDE distribution,
right?

So the question is: Why do you want to define action properties in your
XML in your app in the CVS? (what do you gain? :)

I think the right solution is to call

yourAction->setText( i18n( "WhatIWantTheTextToBe" ) );
