I updated a few days ago, and again about 12 hours ago. It hasn't made any
difference.

But I suspect this isn't a QMultiLineEdit specfic problem. I noticed another
dialog that was a bit messed up the filter dialog in kmail, these dialogs
(including the kedit file open dialog and the kmcompose window) looked fine
under QT 2.0.2.

From looking into the filter dialog in kmail problem I got the impression that
perhaps a call to void QWidget::resizeEvent ( QResizeEvent * )  had been
overzealously optimized out in QT 2.1. That's only a speculative guess though,
I didn't really look into it.

Are the scrollbars in kfiledialogs placed correctly for you? I'm guessing all
kfiledialogs have been affected not just the one I tried in kedit.

The behaviour in KEdit is fine too. It's just in the Kmail composer (that
uses a kedit widget) that it's not working. I'll have a bit more of a look into
it, tonight if I can.

BFN,
Don.
