Yes, I have lots of bookmarks as well and since they are xpms of course,
you get tons of warnings. I have started a script (committed in konqueror)
to update the user's bookmarks when ran for the first time, but it
has to be fixed and called on a new release (as part of all the
'new release' stuff that has to be moved to kdesktop).
However I don't think that's the reason for slowness...
Will have to investigate that.
