Sorry to discover things long after they've been done, but why
are all mini icons in kdebase/pics/mini in PNG format ?
It breaks every .kdelnk and .desktop file that used to refer
to xpm files ! Well, it still works, but the files refer
to inexistent image files, and the apps spit out things like :

KStdDirs::findResDir(): can't find "lockedfolder.xpm" in type "mini".
KStdDirs::findResDir(): can't find "folder_open.xpm" in type "mini".
KStdDirs::findResDir(): can't find "www.xpm" in type "mini".
KStdDirs::findResDir(): can't find "wwwnew.xpm" in type "mini".

I'm not sure I understand... PNG to replace GIF, no problem, but PNG files
instead of XPM ones ? The "PNG-mania" has its limits I would say ;)
