Quite interesting observation. I see the same here.

Plainly EVERY KDE program (except kpanel and kwm) crashes.
konsole, kmix, konqueror, everything. Running the stuff as root turns
out to work out fine.

I cannot find the source of the problem, though. It crashes all the
time at different locations - one time sooner, one time later.
Backtrace is always the same.

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0x0 in ?? ()

(BTW: program and libs include debugging symbols):
