Hi,

just a short note, that you should "rm ~/.config/kde.org/libphonon.conf" 
unless you have already configured your device preference via kcm_phonon. If 
the file is present you will not get the default ordering of audio devices 
which can result in getting pulseaudio on top (which is apparently broken for 
some installations).
