In KMail it's used since ages to select the current (as in QListView
terminology) message. With Alt+Left/Right you can make another message
the current message without selecting it and then you can select the
wanted message with Alt+Space.

The same for KNode.

KBabel: Alt+Space is used for entering a fixed space
(http://lxr.kde.org/source/KDE/kdesdk/kbabel/kbabel/mymultilineedit.cpp#1557)
Ctrl+Alt+Space "Copy Searc&h Result to Msgstr"

GwenView: Alt+Space "Next Folder"

Kile: Alt+Space "Environment", Ctrl+Alt+Space "Abbreviation"

Katapult: Alt+Space "Show Launcher"

That's all I could find with lxr.

Ingo
