This thread is nonsense.

You can't GPL artwork anyways. The whole license makes no
sense applied to artwork.

How do you "link" artwork to other artwork?

What is the "source" for artwork? In this case it soft of makes sense (SVG), 
but what about all the other KDE icons? What's the source for those? The 
sequence of strokes the author used to draw them in macro form? Come on.

The GPL and LGPL were never meant for things like documentation and artwork.
Thats what the licenses like those at the Creatve Commons (
http://creativecommons.org/license/ ) and the GNU FDL are for
