home directory is defacto.
home folder i've never heard.

sounds good after saying it
to myself several hundred 
times though.

it just sounded akward from
my pov. i don't really care
about the correctness pov.

but, as david pointed out
to me, "go home" just sounds
rude. so. i'm okay with
"home folder" in some cases.
but half of the time just
"home" can probably 
be used.
