Oh, you mean that Matthias is talking here about qt_set_desktop_properties? I 
thought he was talking about something new, but I guess you are right. Yes, 
qt_set_desktop_properties is very much inadequate at the moment. I guess that 
makes a strong argument for XSettings then.
