doesn't qt_set_x11_resources handle the things that qt_set_desktop_properties 
doesn't? like fonts, palletes, effects .... i do think that the call order 
should be the other way around for aesthetics and portability (e.g. 
qt_set_desktop_properties should call qt_set_x11_resources, or whatever the 
native platform's set resouce call is, instead of the other way around as it 
is now), but that was what i used last night to get 
KApplications/QApplications in sync...
