AFAIK supermount has never been ported to work with Linux 2.4.x...
Last time I saw it in action, the autorunning of kpackage etc. was done via
kautorun, a KDE 1 app at that time. Maybe it has already been ported...

Is there a portable way to do it on more platforms than Linux with supermount?
If so, I'd be happy to do it - dreaming of inserting a CD with exactly one
.avi on it and xine opens automatically :)
