hi,

i have worked on porting KEdit from QMLE to QTextEdit, 
this is done (just some minor bugs to correct),
i have reimplemented some QMLE functions in KEdit so that porting is
easier, in khtml porting just requires a s/QMultiLineEdit/QTextEdit/gc
(that's all for kdebase)
i'm testing kmail right now but i think it should be the same.

we have discussed about using the KTextEdit interface on IRC with
geiseri, one big problem is how can we use a kpart in kdeui if we want
to implement KTextEdit in KEdit ? (kparts needs kdeui to compile)
