And I meant associating _another_ KPart for the properties dialog with more
specialistic data that is not used in a normal KPart. A bit like in Windows
where e.g. Novell Netware drives get their own PropertySheet where you can
add/remove rights, see disk space and quota on the server, etc.
In case of KDE, this might be handy for mountpoints to show a pie chart with
disk usage and quota usage, a list of processes that use this mount point, an
unmount button, .... . And that was only the mount point. For a KWord doc you
can show stats like author, number of lines, etc. For an executable the
libraries that it links against ('ldd filename'). Numerous possibilities...
