I wonder if this fixes one of the problems I was having. Intermittently KMail
complained it couldn't write to one of it's files (the index file IIRC) and
would abort suggesting a lack of disk space. There was plenty of disk
space...
That was on FreeBSD, which I guess Adriaan also had the problem on.
