This backtrace is the same as the one recently reported on
koffice-devel@kde.org
It seems that QFontMetrics::inFont() crashes in some circumstances which I
cannot reproduce.

Could you please tell me which XFree86 version and which Qt version you are
using and if you have font-antialiasing enabled?

As a workaround, edit the file
~/.kde/share/kdeglobals and in the section [KDE], add a line
DisplayFontItems=false
or if there is DisplayFontItems=true, change true to false. I'm currently
waiting for a reply whether this has been fixed in Qt or not,
-Malte

PS: David, is there a way to make bugs.kde.org send further replies to this
to me?
