IMHO that's a very good idea.

Please read the original bug report! If the To/CC/Bcc field contains 
fully qualified addresses as well as addresses which are not fully 
qualified the addresses which are not fully qualified will 
automatically be removed by a mimelib function because such addresses 
don't comply to RFC822. Sendmail handles not fully qualified addresses 
as local addresses but mimelib doesn't like them and therefore removes 
them from the list of recipients. Strangely, it only removes those 
addresses if there are also fully qualified addresses in the To/CC/Bcc 
field.

To reproduce send a message with "gis, gis@localhost" in the To field.
