Subject: Bug#9200: missing kmailservice.cpp LGPL license header (needed by Debian)

Package: kdelibs
Version: KDE2-pre4 (latest)

kdelibs/kio/kmailservice.cpp
is missing licensing information identifying it as
released under LGPL.

According to the Debian purists, (post by Peter S. Galbraith
on kde-licensing), this is a problem, as apparently
the default kdelibs license is GPL rather than LGPL,
and they refuse to package GPL-linked-to-QT without
that "exception".

(apparently kdelibs will be in debian to the extent it
is pure LGPL...., but, without "evidence" that it is LGPL,
they (Peter S. Galbraith, the packager) will be "forced"
to assume kmailservice.cpp is GPL, and remove it...)

I know this is pedantic nonsense, but please add
the LGPL license header to kmailservice.cpp

I gather that packaging kdelibs as LGPL without the
rest of GPL kde is some sort of symbolic
attempt to prove Debian's
good faith and consistent principles....
