I'd say this is quite important, it should be fixed before the release
imho.

(The details: konqueror tries to lookup the name in DNS and if it
doesn't exist it doesn't pass it on to the http proxy.  It shouldn't
do the DNS part, since many places that run proxies have internal
DNSs.)
