I use Gentoo. My collection is on NFS share mounted under /mnt.

After I have used workaround in comment #27 the problem is probably gone. I set
method to Stat. I had to create DirWatch section in the config like this:

[DirWatch]
nfsPreferredMethod=Stat

It seems, that Gentoo does not set this to FAM by default anywhere. At least I
haven't found it.
