            Bug ID: 313397
           Summary: Make FindBar global
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: rekonq
           Version: 2.0
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: adjam7@gmail.com
          Reporter: jiveaxe@gmail.com

Hi, dunno if something similar is already in TODO list but I'd want suggest
some enchantements to Find Bar (activated with CTRL+F). It seems a 'per
WebWindow' tool, and it is very annoying when searching the same term on
multiple tabs to activate and re-type text for every page. Why not make it
global, start search in a tab then switching in a new tab, activate CTRL+F and
automatically search previous text (without typing it again)?

More, can you add an option to disable FindBar's auto-hide? Often I have to
search and read text around a match in very long pages with multiple matches.
So it happens that after some time the bar hides and all matches are
deselected; I have to reactivate it but search restarts from the beginning,
losing focus from the last read match.

Regards

Reproducible: Always
