Bug ID: 313396
Summary: windows are untabbed if one of the windows is on
multiple activities
Classification: Unclassified
Product: kwin
Version: 4.9.4
Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: CONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: window-tabbing
Assignee: kwin-bugs-null@kde.org
Reporter: kretz@kde.org
If you switch activities, so that a window has to leave a tab group, the tab
group is lost.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. You need two activities and two windows to reproduce the problem.
2. Put one of the windows on both activities, the other window only on one
activity.
3. On the activity with both windows, tab attach one of the windows to the
other window as Tab.
4. Now switch activities (fine: window disappears).
5. Switch activities back to the one with both windows.
Actual Results:
The tab group is broken up.
Expected Results:
The two windows should still be in the tab group - independent of activity
switching.
