The spec is NOT wrong. It is a corner case which had not been
considered. I cannot tell you whether this has been intentionally not
been considered or the spec is just too old to consider multiple screens

I don't see anything to "fix" here. It needs a new extension to support
this corner case. What I wrote is that I think that nobody has any
interest in extending the spec to support this corner case as the corner
case became KDE specific. Which does not justify to have it in a spec.

This conclusion is obviously wrong. Only the corner case is not of
interest to those not having the corner case

it has nothing to do with "breaking the spec", the spec needs to be
extended.
