I suspected sth. lie this (i suspect it to be responsive for another issue as
well) if you can, leave it enabled and use this version of kwin, watching for
errors that seem introduced by this code (as described in bug #160393) so we
can ultimately reactivate the code (maybe opt-in for testing purposes)
