Summary: Adept dist-upgrade fails when python-qt4 isn't installed
           Product: adept
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: me@mornfall.net
        ReportedBy: headofbucket@gmail.com

Version: (using KDE 4.1.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I attempted to upgrade from Hardy to Intrepid via (kdesudo "adept_manager
--dist-upgrade".) It failed with this message

can't load DistUpgradeViewKDE (No module named PyQt4.QtCore)
can't load DistUpgradeViewGtk (No module named Common.SimpleGladeApp)
can't load DistUpgradeViewKDE (No module named PyQt4.QtCore)

Installing python-qt4 fixed the problem. Suggest that when this situation is
encountered, The system checks for python-qt4 and then asks to install it if
not found.
