It failed with this message can't load DistUpgradeViewKDE (No module named PyQt4.QtCore) can't load DistUpgradeViewGtk (No module named Common.SimpleGladeApp) can't load DistUpgradeViewKDE (No module named PyQt4.QtCore) Installing python-qt4 fixed the problem.
