Summary: allow to deactivate the smooth transition effect in
                    settings dialogs
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs@kde.org
        ReportedBy: m.koller@surfeu.at

Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

Please give the user an option to deactivate the smooth transition effect in
all settings dialogs, e.g. system settings
When you switch from one category to another currently there is a fading effect
showing the old content blending with the new for some time.

Ffor me this is annoying and slow and the User interface seems not repsonding
quickly to my mouse clicks. (I click, nothing happens, then suddenly the fading
effect starts).

I want to get rid of this effect as I don't like it but I found no setting to
disable it.
