So let's get some things cleared up: this isn't actually a useless bug report,
but rather a report of multiple bugs and wishes with some value judgements
mixed in.

Let me break down the report:

> 1. How does one choose what columns to see in the playlist?

This is a question, but could potentially be a wish. The new playlist doesn't
allow choosing custom metadata fields (yet). If you wish to open a bug report
for this, please do.

> 2. Where has the playlist search field gone? (I do not refer to the
> collection filter.)

This has been removed, end of story. I plan on adding search functionality more
like inline searching for firefox etc, but not with "filtering" capacity as in
1.4 for numerous reasons that I can explain if you want to hear about it.

> 3. The right click context menu has been stripped down to almost nothing. One
> such functionality that I really miss is selecting several tracks, then right
> click to edit the title, artist, etc.

So this could also be a bug report, but you don't need to list that it's short.
This is due to either removed or missing functionality, and yes, some of which
we need to recover. If this is important to you (seems like it is), then you
could file a new bug report and we will review it when we can.

> 4. The collection browser grouping - one used to be able to freely choose
> each level. Now it seems that only a limited number of fixed choices are
> available.

Yes, a lost feature and definitely worth a bug report.

Alan - thanks for the report and sorry for any upsets or miscommunications from
us, I'm hopefull you feel the same way. In the future, if you are filing bugs
it's helpful just to state "this is missing" or "i want this". Brevity is a bug
reporter's friend.
