It is a beta version, so expect crashes, for daily use 1.4.x is the way to go.

As already said, 2.0.0 will not contain all featues from 1.4.x. What do you
expect from a complete rewrite? We will release as soon as most of the
functionality is useable ("release early, release often", you know.).

And, as also already said, this bug is useless from the bugtackers point of
view. Take that to the mailing list or the forums. Or deliver patches.
