Simulating the functionality by drawing it in another window would be as complicated \
as to draw the line in the same window right away. No, even more complicated \
actually.

I did not know about the 30 and 60 degree lines, thank you for that info. I noticed \
the line turned out _almost_ like a 2x1 line though every 4th row ended up being a \
single pixel. Are there special reasons for the 30 and 60 degrees besides having \
something somewhat smaller than 45 degrees, or could you perhaps change that line \
into the isometric line? Since it is already close to it.

I was rather active in a big pixel art community and nobody has ever heard of a \
software with an isometric line tool, so if kolourpaint got it I'm positive you would \
gain a whole lot of new users.
