Ok, that's good to know. But then--I'm sorry--I'm not going to change the \
current behavior. Writing all notes to disk every time you hit a key would \
be horrible (and it's got to be all notes since there is only the one \
ics-file with all notes in it). No other application does that, just try \
KWrite or KWord or similar. If you kill X instead of shutting it down \
properly, you have to deal with the consequences--and I designed KNotes \
already so that only minimal data loss ever occurs. 

And yes, the configuration, like note position, color, size, etc. will only \
be saved upon correct application shutdown since this information is not \
crucial. You could hit "Quit" before killing X to save everything. Thus, \
