I'd just like to confirm this behaviour. I've tested it using an MMC card and two USB \
storage devices. Three icons are created, all of which have the menu entry available. \
Choosing it from any one device causes the remaining (the operation is performed \
successfully) desktop icons to lose the menu entry.

As a workaround, I simply unmount the remaining devices from the command-line.
