As I said in the report above. It is not this problem. Both machines are on a 
local subnet and are NTP syched with a local server. They would never be more 
than microseconds apart.

Same version, same OS.

rsh and rsync are not mounted, you're talking apples and oranges. You don't 
mount a drive over rsh (unless you're talking about using fuse_kio or 
something out of the oridinary like that ).

The problem exists with samba as well. It is not NFS specific. As the bug says 
it is for "remote protocols". NFS is just an example.
