I don't agree.
Deleting images from disk is a _very_ common action thanks to the invention of the digital camera, \
because there is no additional cost to take 10 pictures of the same thing, and choose only the best one \
after that. This action can be done only in your image viewer, because it's mostly the first time you \
review all your new pictures. So a conscient action from the user plus a confirmation dialog (explicit, \
while the default is unsafe) is a good compromise between being safe and not having too much pain to \
erase all those bad pictures.
