I don't agree.
Deleting images from disk is a _very_ common action thanks to the invention of the digital \
camera, because there is no additional cost to take 10 pictures of the same thing, and choose \
only the best one after that. This action can be done only in your image viewer, because it's \
mostly the first time you review all your new pictures. So a conscient action from the user \
plus a confirmation dialog (explicit, while the default is unsafe) is a good compromise between \
being safe and not having too much pain to erase all those bad pictures.
