           Summary: Kate crashes when I enter invalid IOslave in file-open
                    dialog
           Product: kate
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: RedHat RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kwrite-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: kde holovaty com

Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from:    RedHat RPMs

I can reproduce this crash every time. To reproduce:

1. In Kate, go to File | Open.

2. In the location bar (at the top of the dialog box), delete what's currently \
printed there and type any one of the the following 6 lines, then press Enter:

fish:test test://
a:a a://
a: a://
a: ://
a:: a//
a:: //
a:://

Kate crashes.

It does NOT crash for the following input:

a a://
a://
> > //
 a::// (with a single leading space)

The About dialog tells me I'm using "Kate 2.2 (Using KDE 3.2.0-0.1 Red Hat)".

Please let me know what other information to provide to help fix this bug.
