I also tried the same, but I was able to reproduce this bug(even with fs=yes set in \
mplayer.conf) as you mentioned. It has nothing to do with mplayer.

Please read comment #4, try that, and tell what happens.

And this bug is not specific to my system as I have tried this on many machines \
running KDE.
