spanning the kicker over all of the screens was a *very* important feature of KDE < 
3.1! It was one of the best advantages of Linux vs. Windows on multihead-systems. 
It kindly request the developers of kcontrol and the kicker at least to build the above 
mentioned workaround setting the size to 200%. Best would be to habe to possibility to 
select "all" for the xinerama-heads insted only 1 or 2 (or 3). 
(I understand the problem with different resolutions, but most people I know run the 
same res. on all screens).
