Subject: Re: no apply to update menu

The first problem:
When you change something in the menu editor, the 'apply' button is still in
a disabled state. The only time the apply button gets enabled, it seems, is
when you edit the name of a menu entry.
For example:
If you delete an entry, the apply button does not show up. Then if you
change the name of something, then change it back to the original
name(explicitly to force the apply button to get enabled) and finally click
apply, the item you deleted does not get removed from the menu until you
relogin to KDE.

The other problem:
The K menu seems to display things in alphabetical order ONLY. This is very
iritating as I have to scroll down large lists of menu items to get to the
programs I use most.
