Installed from:    Mandrake RPMs
Compiler:          gcc 3.2 
OS:          Linux

Selecting most screensavers causes system to become unresponsive i.e. 100% CPU load, \
disk thrashing, slow mouse etc. Deselcting "use screensavers" makes system responsive \
again. Installation of 3rd party screensaver (kfireworks) works fine. Also tried \
uninstalling screensavers (kdeartwork3.0.3 mdk 9.0) and reinstalling, with no effect.

Note: blank screen and banner seem to work fine.

System:
Mandrake 9.0
NVidia Geforce 4 ti 4200 (with official drivers)
256 Ram
AMD Athlon-xp 1800+
etc..

All other graphical/3d apps/games work OK.
